RadioBlack partner with INgrooves to release "Thread (I Am)"

California's RadioBlack have partnered with Legend Distribution/ INgrooves to launch the action packed single "Thread (I Am)"

After signing with CB Entertainment Artist Management firm in 2017, this year will see a new single in March. To follow with a full-length album in May with extensive touring.

Shortly after recording at the Foo Fighters’ private Studio 606, lead singer/guitarist TJ Courtney brought in drummer Derek Gledhill, founding member of Smile Empty Soul, and bassist Hayato Takano to form RadioBlack. The 3-piece’s sound is a melodic mixture of grunge and 90's inspired alt-rock that incorporates modern production elements.

The 606 sessions were recorded through the famed Sound City Neve 8028 analog console, previously graced by the likes of Nirvana, Rage Against The Machine, and Paul McCartney. Producer John "Lou" Lousteau arranged dream collaborations for Courtney with Taylor Hawkins (Foo Fighters), Rudy Sarzo (Ozzy), Chris Chaney (Jane's Addiction), and Mick Murphy (My Ruin, Chevy Metal). The production team was rounded out by "Sound City" documentary producer Jim Rota, and Brad Smith of Blind Melon. These recordings will be featured on Radio Black's debut album, slated for release next spring.

The remainder of the album was recorded with producer/mixer Jason "Space" Smith (Memento, Digital Daggers) with sessions that featured the new line-up at Wishbone Studios, Ocean Way, and The Village Recorder. Having already shared the stage with Puddle of Mudd, Trapt, and Vast, and with plans to release singles throughout the rest of the year, RadioBlack shows no signs of slowing down in the lead up to their 2018 debut.

"Between Courtney's gruff vocals and Hawkins' steady drumming, (Run Away) has an emotional intensity akin to the Foo's own 'Times Like These.'" - Consequence of Sound

"RadioBlack's TJ Courtney is living proof that taking risks pays off.” - PureVolume
